| 31st December 2025 | Still keeping with mathematical stuff but venturing into the world of visuals, possibly the most ambitious tool so far using just plain vanilla JavaScript - Static Ray Tracer (Wireframe Editor + Progressive Render). Obviously it's fairly limited but you can still create some nice images with it and relive the excitement of the early 90s in the process! Clearly I couldn't leave out fractals (I mean, who doesn't love fractals, right?) so also added Fractal Creator – Mandelbrot & Julia Explorer. |
| 2nd January 2026 | Moving onto audio in gamedev, especially with a retro feel - 8-Bit SFX Generator and Simple Tracker added. Whilst the SFX creator is essentially fully usable already, I plan to update it with more options. The tracker, however, is only at the "have fun with a quick experiment" stage, there are multiple enhancements to come for that one before you could use it to create something that could be used in a game (that's my ultimate aim, although it will never be fully-featured in the way the old 16-bit tracker programs were, it's simplified by design.) |
| 4th January 2026 | Simple Tracker updated with much improved features. Variable track length, more instruments, simple tone options, export to JSON or WAV, etc. You could genuinely make a short usable track with this now. |
| 19th January 2026 | Retro Palette Helper added. Lots of retro system's palettes to choose from (or create your own variations), download and import into Aseprite, GIMP or whatever. |
